Fish Haul Beach Park

Fish Haul Beach Park, located in the northern part of Hilton Head, SC, is one of my favorite beaches for photographing families! It is a true hidden gem offering a peaceful and natural environment. Unlike some of the more popular beaches on Hilton Head, Fish Haul Beach Park is known as the “locals” beach. It tends to be less crowded and quiet making it such a great spot for family photography.

Fish Haul provides expansive tidal flats, beautiful rocks, and marshland, making low tide such a treat at this local beach! If you have kids, this beach is sure to be a hit! From wildlife of all kinds to shark teeth, there is never a dull moment. Fish Haul is also in the direct path of Hilton Head Airport, so you’ll be witness to all of the airplanes coming in for their landing.

I had a blast photographing the O’Hara family while they were visiting Hilton Head, SC! Their toddler, Ellie loved getting to explore all that Fish Haul Beach Park had to offer!
