In 2015, I picked up my first camera after giving birth to my daughter. All I can remember thinking is how I never wanted to miss a moment. Picking up that camera sparked something inside of me. When I hold my camera, I feel creatively free. Free to have fun and curate something special and unique for my clients that are on the receiving end. When you look at my pictures, I want you to feel instant comfort. Like that first sip of morning coffee, or a warm inviting hug from a friend that you haven't seen in long time. I want to create art that you look at and truly wonder, how did she capture that?
Getting to bless & serve my clients is a responsibility that I don't take lightly. Getting to meet you & your families makes my heart so incredibly full! I am so grateful to you, for entrusting me to give you such beautiful memories that I know will stay with you for a lifetime.

Today more than ever, I want to highlight and celebrate the strong family unit. In my own marriage, motherhood & in my relationships, I want to be an example of Christ's love. I aim to be gentle, loving and always have a listening ear. I want to be a place of refuge for the people in my life who need to feel safe and heard. Through my lens and through the relationships that I form with my clients and prospective clients, my hope is that together, you not only gain a great experience, but walk away with a new friend you never expected to have.
As for the art that I create in this space, I want Lamp & Light to celebrate every facet of life. Men & women that will become strong husbands & strong wives that may eventually gain the title of mom and dad. Some of the most important roles we will ever have the privilege of having.
